Little Scout lists 184 licensed childcare facilities in Victoria. Of those, 145 are licensed group centres and 39 are licensed family child care homes, where care is provided in the provider's own home for up to 7 children.

Victoria's listed facilities cover a range of ages, including infant, preschool, kindergarten out-of-school care, and after-school programs. There are also licensed preschool programs available for children aged 30 months to school age.
