  Observation. Licensing audited one staff file, and it did not obtain a certificate validated through the ECE Registry.

  Corrective action. Ensure educator or assistant certificates are validated through the ECE Registry.

• The licensee must not permit a person over the age of 12 to be ordinarily present on the premises of a community care facility while children are present, unless the person is of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for that person.

  Corrective action. Ensure all persons over the age of 12 who are ordinarily present have a valid CRC.

  Observation. Licensing observed a log of all inspections, maintenance and repairs was not kept from August 11-13, 2026. Licensee Contact stated she had been inspected before the children in use, but did not recorded.

  Corrective action. Ensure a log of all inspections, maintenance and repairs is kept.

• A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility the certificate of any educator or assistant employed to work in the community care facility.

  Observation. Licensing observed the certification or copy of the certification of an Early Childhood Educator Assistant employed was not displayed in a prominent place.

  Corrective action. Ensure the certification or copy of the certification of any educator/assistant employed displayed in a prominent place.
