  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

Observation. The balancing log in the back yard and perimeter of the sandbox (which is located below some trees) are quite slick when it rains. This is caused by the algae that grows on wood in damp climates. LO raised some concerns around how slippery they may be when wet from the rain. Discussion had around installing some form of grip so the children don't slip.

Corrective action. Please ensure a healthy and safe environment.
