• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. One child's record does not contain the name and telephone number for a medical practitioner. In the event of an emergency where contacts cannot be reached the licensee is required to have the name and telephone number for a medical practitioner. Submit by December 8, 2025, evidence that the record is complete. Several departure times were missing from the daily attendance record. Accurate attendance is required to ensure that educators are aware of how many children are in care in the event of an emergency. This is a reoccurring contravention originally found out of compliance on November 15, 2024. Submit by December 8, 2025, how you will address this to prevent reoccurrence.

• C10.2 - Are children supervised, and are employee to children ratios maintained?Critical

  Observation. Through discussions with employees it was determined that napping children are not being supervised at all times. To ensure the children's safety children must be supervised at all times. The manager is required to submit a plan to ensure that napping children are provided with supervision.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensing Officer reviewed children's records and observed incomplete information under Section 57 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation such as missing medical insurance plan numbers, a record of any person who is not permitted access to a child, and photographs or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency. The manager is required to submit a plan to ensure children's records are complete. The Licensing Officer reviewed the daily attendance record and observed many departure times not recorded. The manager is required to submit a plan to ensure the daily attendance accurately reflects the children in care.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensing Officer reviewed the recorded playground inspections and observed that regular daily playground inspections are not occurring and monthly playground inspections were not completed for September and October. In order to ensure that a child's outdoor environment is safe, daily and monthly inspections are required to address potential hazards. The manager is required to submit a plan to ensure that the required playground inspections are occurring.
