Soiled diapers must not be accessible to children to reduce the risk of exposure to body fluids, harmful bacteria and the spread of communicable diseases. Care plans guide employees in their daily interactions with the child, outlining specific strategies, accommodations and responses ensuring children's developmental and behavioral needs are met consistently and effectively. Submit a response with evidence of compliance by May 15, 2026. - Inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the outdoor play space are not being documented for May 2026. Lack of documentation of inspections and repairs risks unnoticed hazards, which could cause unsafe conditions and potential injuries to children. Observation. The Licensing Officer observed that a person who resides in the home, does not have a valid Criminal Record Check clearance letter on file. This must be addressed immediately as persons over the age of 12 must not be ordinarily present at the facility without a valid criminal record check as per Section 20 of CCLR. The Licensee indicated that they have applied for this person's new criminal record check and are waiting for it to be processed through the Criminal Record Review Program. Submit a written compliance plan including evidence by 22-April-2025 that addresses how compliance will be achieved until this person's clearance letter is received.

Observation. - Through a review of child records, it was observed that a child's file was missing their medical practitioner's information. Another child's file was missing their medical insurance number and immunization status. As per Section 57 of CCLR, all children's records must be kept complete showing their personal information. Submit a written compliance plan including copies of the complete records by 22-April-2025. - Child records were also missing one child's photograph or digital image. A photograph or digital image of each child must be kept which can be used to readily identify child in emergencies. Submit a written compliance plan including evidence by 22-April-2025 that this child's file is complete as per Section 57.

Observation. - It was observed that a dresser's drawers were not child proof as they slide right out. This may pose a potential risk of injuries to children if these drawers were to fall over the children. A healthy and safe environment must be provided at all times as per Section 13 of CCLR. Submit a written compliance plan including evidence that addresses how have you corrected this issue on or before 22-April-2025. - A plastic picnic table, two tricycles and other toys in the outdoor play space were observed in poor repair. This may pose a potential risk of injuries to children. As per Section 13 of CCLR, facility, equipment and furniture must be clean and in good repair. Submit a written compliance plan with evidence that addresses how have you corrected these issues on or before 22-April-2025.
