Observation. - The emergency plan was not practiced in 2025. Employees must practice the emergency plan at least once a year to ensure they are prepared in the event of an emergency . Submit a response with evidence of compliance by April 07, 2026.

Observation. - There is no care plan for a child who requires extra support. Care plans must be developed and documented in collaboration with parents to ensure consistency, transparency, and clarity in meeting the child's developmental and behavioral needs. Submit a response with evidence of compliance by April 07, 2026.

Observation. - The hot water temperature at the bathroom sink measured at 50.9°C. Water temperature exceeding 49°C poses potential risk of scalding and burns to children. Submit a response with evidence of compliance by April 07, 2026.

Observation. - Upon reviewing children's records, the daily attendance record was found incomplete. Ensure daily attendance record indicates the times of arrival and departure of children. - An incomplete log of outdoor play space inspections, repairs, and maintenance was observed by the Licensing Officer. Ensure thorough daily, monthly, and annual inspections of the play space are performed to ensure safe play space and a log of these inspections is maintained.

Observation. The hot water was measured at 55.2°C. Ensure any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.

Observation. A reportable incident was not reported to Licensing.

Observation. Children were given morning snack without washing their hands.

Observation. Tylenol and Asthma medication were stored in the front pocket of a child's bag, and was accessible to children.

Observation. One of the diaper bins was not a covered container.

Observation. One child did not have any emergency contacts recorded in their registration records.

Observation. The Licensee's criminal record check has expired in May 2021.

Observation. Fire extinguishers were due for service January 2019. -Fire drill system posted in a prominent location. Monthly fire drills and annual evacuation appear complete and current. -Policies reviewed appear current. Please ensure a current copy of the parent handbook is available onsite for Licensing and parent review at all times.

Observation. -Child sized chairs were located in entrance obstructing a clear emergency exit path (corrected during inspection). -First aid kit carried outside contains expired items and only small band-aids. Please remove expired items and replace supplies such as gauze, medical tape, triangle bandage, etc. to build a kit appropriate for aid of more than minor cuts and abrasions. Facility, equipment and toys inspected appear age/ development appropriate, safe, clean and in good repair. Outside play space minimally inspected to due snow depth.

Observation. A child photo requires updating as it is not current. Attendance, minor incident and play space inspection logs and other records reviewed appear complete. Please ensure play space inspections are completed each day and not recorded in advance.
