• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Baby wipes that do not sanitize are being used to clean the change pad. The safety latch on the stove is not working and children have access to the stove (oven).

  Corrective action. The manager will ensure that a product that sanitizes is used to clean the change pad and that the safety latch on the stove is working.

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

  Observation. Files for four children were reviewed. A medical insurance plan number was not available in one file.

  Corrective action. The manager will ensure a medical insurance plan number is available for all children.

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

  Observation. Time in and time out are missing for multiple children on multiple days.

  Corrective action. The manager will ensure time in and time out are recorded every day for all children.

  Observation. Files for four children were reviewed. The telephone number for a doctor was not available in one file.

  Corrective action. The manager will ensure the telephone number is available for all children.
