  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (f) evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

  Observation. Seven staff files were reviewed and two staff were missing record of immunization status

  Corrective action. The manager said the immunization status will be obtained

  The licensee must (b) review the care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

  Observation. The care plan was not reviewed annually with the parent or any person requested to by the parent.

  Corrective action. The staff said they would update the care plan with the parent.

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Upon inspection of the roof top playground there was equipment piled beside the railing that posed a fall hazard should a child climb it.

  Corrective action. Please ensure equipment is not stored beside the railings of the rooftop.

  Observation. Upon inspection there was a bleach bottle accessible to the children.

  Corrective action. Please ensure hazardous substances are kept out of childrens reach.

  Observation. Upon review of the file drill records, 3 months did not have a fire drill conducted or recorded.

  Corrective action. Please ensure fire drills are conducted with the children.

  Observation. Upon inspection, one child was eating alone at the lunch table.

  Observation. Upon inspection, there was bedding that had been stored touching each other, which posed a sanitary concern. In one of the classrooms, there was a shelf being used to store numerous items on the top, that may pose a fall hazard if the children try to take toys off of it.

  Corrective action. Please ensure a healthy and safe environment is being provided at all times while children are in care.

  Observation. Upon inspection, there were 4 disinfectant wipe containers and 2 bleach bottles accessible to the children.

  Corrective action. Please ensure children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to a child's health and safety.

  Observation. Upon review of the children's files, one care plan had not been reviewed with the parent within the past year.This is a repeat contravention.

  Corrective action. Please ensure children's files are up to date.
