    Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Electrical cord in Jr Toddler nap room was hanging over sleeping cot and accesible to children. This poses a choking hazard - Sofa in Daycare 2 program in poor repair, making it unable to be sanitized effectively.

    Observation. Upon inspection Licensing found: -a toilet tank cover to be cracked in the children's washroom -bathroom wall was dirty -exposed gyprock in the classroom with residue that came off on fingers when touched (this is a repeat contravention)

    Corrective action. Please ensure the facility is clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

Upon inspection: -there was a large glass vase and heavy wood rounds on top of the cubbies, that posed a fall hazard in the event of an earthquake. -t.v on a shelf that rocked when bumped that posed a fall hazard -blind cords accessible to children -a ripped children's couch -ripped change pad

    Observation. Upon asking to inspect the emergency supplies, the metal bin was locked and rusted through.The Manager said that she did not have the key to unlock it but was able to produce the extra food and water.

    Corrective action. Please ensure emergency supplies are easily accessible and in good repair.

    Observation. Upon inspecting the attendance records, one classroom did not have any children 's arrival times documented. Staff said that they write it down during circle time.

    Observation. An epi pen is at the facility for a child although there is no care plan and no permission to administer it. The manager stated the family had not returned the care plan form.

    Corrective action. A current care plan and permission to administer medication must be at the facility when the child starts to attend.
