  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Nasal spray,Lysol and a cutting knife was accessible to the children in care.

  Corrective action. Licensee removed hazardous items while Licensing was on site..

  A licensee must ensure that a child's medication is not accessible to any child, except that a child may have access to his or her own medication if (a) the child's parent has instructed the licensee to permit this. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Medication was accessible to children in care.

  Corrective action. Licensee removed the medication so it was inaccessible to the children in care.

  A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

  Observation. Three day emergency food supply had expired in 2022.

  Corrective action. Licensee said she will purchase new food to put in her emergency supplies.

  Observation. Upon review of the children's attendance records, 3 departure times had not been recorded.

  Corrective action. Please ensure children's arrival and departure times are recorded

  Observation. Upon review of the staff files, 1 staff did not have a character references on file.

  Corrective action. Please ensure staff files are complete.
