Observation. Originally found out of compliance on March 17, 2026. Licensing observed the following: - the cord in the first nap room was not secured to the wall, - there were also items requiring electricity on a shelf located by the electrical outlet which were accessible to the children. - In the second nap room the cord that was previously accessible had been changed in order to make it inaccessible, however the modification made was observed as not in good repair.

Observation. LO observed that while the issue with the mats and stools has been resolved; however, the issue with the chipped paint on the walls remains outstanding

Observation. LO observed that there continues to be a gap along the perimeter of the outdoor play space fencing

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. In the Infant space, LO observed the following: -a blue vinyl climbing mat that is ripped and frayed along the edges -multi-colored foam play mats used as a ground surfacing under the indoor climbing equipment appear to be soiled and dirty -area rug in the small room appears to be soiled and stained with paint -in the middle room, a green vinyl nap mat is ripped and exposing the internal material -2 handwoven wicker stools that appear to be worn with holes and cracks In the Toddler space, LO observed the following: -in the north east corner of the children's nap room, a baseboard is coming away from the wall exposing the glue and drywall. This poses a potential risk if a child were to ingest the glue or drywall. -chipped and peeling paint on the nap room walls. In addition, chipped paint on the white wainscoting in the classroom space. -area rug in the dramatic play corner is frayed along one side posing a potential tripping hazard

Observation. In the outdoor play space, LO observed that there are gaps along the perimeter of the fence that pose a risk of entrapment to children. Staff advised that the gaps resulted from the work that was done to even out the paved area of the playground space. Staff stated that there is a plan in place to fill the gaps.

Observation. LO reviewed a sampling of the children's records and observed 1 file where the parent has listed themselves as the emergency contact. Discussion took place with regards to having written, parental consent to release a child to someone other than the parent.
