  Observation. Licensing observed: - One child’s record indicates a medication is listed; however, the medication on site is expired. There is no Request for Administration of Medication form for this medication. In addition, allergy information is inconsistent across two documents, and the care plan was last updated in May 2025. - Another child’s record indicates a medication; however, no corresponding medication is available on site.

  Observation. Licensing observed one staff does not have documentation on site.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. LO observed: - two children who require medication to be administered did not have a Request for Administration of Medication forms completed. - one child had a puffer that was expired.

  For each child requiring extra support, the licensee keeps a current care plan showing the required information. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)(2)]

  Observation. LO was in the classroom with the manager and children when a child opened the door and walked out into the hallway. The manager went into the hallway and brought the child back. This happened a few more times shortly after. Manager stated this child has a care plan. LO reviewed the care plan however it did not appear to be current as it did not reflect the behaviour observed.
