  Observation. Licensing observed the outdoor play structure is designated for children 5 to 12 years of age, which indicates it is not age appropriate and is a concern to licensing of a risk for a serious injury.

  Observation. Licensing observed while reviewing the children's files for information required there are three children who required a medical practitioner contact number.

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. Licensing observed, while the program follows the fire and emergency drills of the school the program was not practicing the fire drills at least once each month as required by the regulation.

  Observation. Licensing observed, the licensee does not keep a current care plan, for a child registered in the program.

  Observation. Originally found out of compliance on March 21, 2023. Licensing observed there were two children's files, which required the medicinal insurance plan number.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. LO observed that there are areas of the facility that are showing signs of wear and tear, paint chipping and on-going maintenance. This was especially noticeable in the two bathrooms and door frames. This wear and tear makes it impossible to ensure the facility is able to be cleaned and sanitized appropriately.

  Observation. Children's files were reviewed, and it was observed that while there is a system in place to track missing items, some of the required documentation was not available - immunization status, medical practitioner and medical insurance information.
