  Observation. Originally found out of compliance on March 18, 2026. Licensing observed that the behavior guidance policy did not provide information regarding behavior guidance for children while in care.

Licensee stated they plan to update their current policies, once updated parents and educators will be provided with a written statement regarding behavioural guidance.

  Observation. Licensing observed the children are not experiencing daily outdoor play periods unless weather conditions make it unreasonable to do so.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the program was not keeping a log of all inspections, maintenance and repairs.

  Observation. Licensing noted that the children had not been outside since the beginning of January.

  Observation. Licensing observed a lack of independent indoor activities that were designed for the age and development for children in care.

  All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]

  Observation. Licensing observed a staff person's CRC was addressed for another organization.

  Design: For prevention of entrapment, spaces (i.e., holes or openings) are smaller than 9 cm (3.5 inches) or larger than 23 cm (9 inches). [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

  Observation. Licensing observed a playhouse placed in front of the house electrical meter to prevent children from accessing the meter. There is a space between the playhouse and the house of more than 9 cm and less than 23 cm posing an entrapment risk.

  Observation. LO LM observed that the ground covering of the outdoor space is covered with leaves, pine needles, and twigs and is required to be cleaned up. Licensee stated that a clean up is scheduled for the spring.
