  Observation. One employee file is missing the required criminal record check. A person must not be employed until the manager has obtained the required records. A response is required by September 15, 2025, to confirm the employee file is complete. There was no evidence that the employee's practiced implementing the emergency plan in the last year. Practicing the plan ensures that staff know what is expected in the event of an emergency. A response is required by September 15, 2025, that the plan has been practiced by all staff.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Upon reviewing children's records, the daily attendance record was found incomplete as it was missing a few children's departure times from the program. Ensure daily attendance record indicates the times of arrival and departure of children. Child records were also missing photographs or digital images of two children in care. Ensure a photograph or digital image of each child is kept which can be used to readily identify child in emergencies.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Licensing observed a tall storage shelf which was unstable and could be rocked back and forth. This could pose a potential hazard to children's safety. The shelf needs to be made secure to ensure that children do not have access to any object that may be hazardous to their health and safety.

  Observation. Photos that can be used to readily identify a child in an emergency were missing for several children.

  Observation. There were several days where the daily playground check was not completed.
