• C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?Non-critical

  Observation. After returning from outside children did not wash their hands before drinking water and beginning indoor activities. Hand washing with soap and water is required to prevent the spread of germs and infection as well as maintaining the health of children in care. A written response is required by April 2, 2026, outlining the steps taken to mitigate this risk.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. At the time of the inspection the Licensing Officer observed bi-fold closet doors unsecured and accessible to children. To mitigate the risk of pinched fingers to children, bi-fold closet doors should be secured. This was corrected during the inspection with the bi-fold closet doors being secured with a latch.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Some children's files were missing the following information: - medical insurance plan number - telephone number of a medical practitioner Some departure times were missing from the daily attendance records. No photos of children were available to readily identify the child in an emergency.
