• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Two hammock-style swings are currently suspended from tree branches by rope and do not maintain the required six-foot clearance from the tree trunk. This configuration presents a potential safety hazard, as children using the swings may come into contact with the tree trunk during use. Submit by April 21, 2026, evidence demonstrating that appropriate measures have been taken to mitigate the risk of the swings striking the tree trunks.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. In reviewing the fire drill log the Licensing Officer observed that fire drill practices did not occur in the months of January, February, and March 2025. The Child Care Licensing Regulation requires every employee to practice implementing the fire drill system at least once per month. Submit your response by April 15, 2025, to address how employees will conduct monthly fire drills.

  Observation. In August and December of 2022 and January 2023 there was no practice of the fire drill system.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. A review of the children's files indicated that the following items were missing from some files: - Date of enrollment. - Date of withdrawal. - A record of any person who is not permitted access to the child. - Other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency. There were no daily, monthly, or annual inspection logs being completed for the outdoor play spaces.

  Observation. There were no daily, monthly, or annual inspection logs being completed for the outdoor play spaces.

  Observation. The diaper change facility was not located next to a hand wash basin.
