A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (h) any special instruction respecting the child's diet, medication, participation in a program of activities, or other matter relevant to the child's care, (i) given by the child's parent to the licensee in writing.
Observation. No written follow-up instructions from the parents of a child with a food sensitivity. As per the staff, this is a mild sensitivity that does not require medication.
Corrective action. The facility will obtain documentation from parents regarding symptoms and instructions to follow if the child is in contact with the food sensitivty.
