  Observation. There was no evidence in the staff files confirming educator certificates had been verified by the director of the early childhood educator registry. Submit by the follow up date noted evidence confirming educator certificates have been verified.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. A review of the children's records indicated the following: - several were missing the name and contact number for a medical practitioner - two were missing their medical insurance plan number - one was missing the date of enrolment in the facility Submit by the follow up date noted the system created and implemented to ensure children's records are complete containing all required information.

Observations: Log of minor injuries/incidents unexpected events updated regularly, play space inspections recorded appropriately, children's arrival and departure times consistently recorded Contraventions: One child's record was missing an emergency contact other than the parent. One child's file is missing a photograph or digital image

  Observation. Observations : Licence and ECE Certificates posted - notification regarding outdoor play area change and transportation plan in progress. Contravention. The Manager name needs to be posted in a prominent location.

  Observation. Observations: Log of minor injuries/incidents unexpected events updated regularly, play space inspections recorded appropriately, children's arrival and departure times consistently recorded, reportable incident reported and mitigated appropriately Contravention: A review of the children's records found some children's files to be missing information.

• C5.1 - Are healthy eating and nutritional habits promoted and practiced?Non-critical

  Observation. Occasionally children are provided with a special snack. Manager informs parents verbally, however a record is not kept.

  Observation. Observations : System in place to ensure children's records are complete. FLO tested system and found child files to be complete, log of minor injuries/incidents unexpected events updated regularly, play space inspections recorded appropriately. Contraventions: Currently attendance records whether a child is present or absent. It is a requirement that children's arrival and departure times are recorded. There were two service delivery incidents that need to be reported to Licensing.
