Observation. The licensee does not have a method in place to ensure that children's food is stored in a refrigerator maintained at 4°C or below. Children's health may be put at risk when food is not stored at a safe temperature. Submit by July 31, 2026, evidence demonstrating that this risk has been mitigated. Children have access to a bifold closet door that is not secured in the closed position. The bifold closet doors may present a pinching hazard to children. Submit by July 31, 2026, evidence demonstrating that this risk has been mitigated. Children have access to hazardous substances labeled "Keep Out of Reach of Children." Children's health and safety may be at risk when when hazardous substances are accessible. Submit by July 31, 2026, evidence demonstrating how this risk has been mitigated. Daily, monthly, and annual play space inspections are being completed; however, the inspection records do not include a thorough checklist identifying the specific items being inspected. A licensee is required to maintain thorough daily, monthly, and annual inspection checklists to verify that the play space is free of hazards and safe for children's use. Submit by July 31, 2026, evidence demonstrating that this risk has been mitigated.

Observation. An inspection of children's files revealed one child's record missing a name and phone number of a physician. This information is required under Section 57 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation. The information must be obtained if applicable, and if it is not applicable, an explanation must be indicated in the child's record. The facility currently does not have a log of daily, monthly and yearly play space inspections. A method for recording these inspections is required. This was corrected during the inspection.

Observation. All required information appeared to be on site for each child, however it was not kept in a single location.

Please ensure all reportable incidents are reported to licensing within 24 hours. Several attendance records were incomplete. Please ensure all attendance records are complete with both arrival and departure times.

Observation. There are gaps that exceeds 9 cm (3.5") at the base of the playhouse next to the fence, on both sides, that could pose an entrapment risk. Large storage bins, with a hinged plywood lids, have been installed along the fence, for the garbage bins, close to to the left side of the playhouse. A child could lift the lid and it could close on their fingers causing an injury. A method of preventing the children from opening these bins is required.

Observation. The supervision policy needs to include guidance for staff regarding what would occur in the event a child would stand on the bench and attempt to climb out the window. Also if a child was to stand on the bench to climb on to the sink area.
