Observation. Required information, including the name and phone number of a medical practitioner, medical insurance number, immunization status, and start date, is missing from some children’s records. Complete and up-to-date records for each child are required. Submit written confirmation by May 28, 2026, that the missing information has been obtained and added to the children’s records. Child absences are not recorded, and some departure times are not documented on the attendance records. Accurate and complete attendance records must be maintained at all times. Submit written confirmation and supporting evidence by May 28, 2026, that attendance records are complete, with all absences and departure times consistently documented. A photo or digital image is missing for one child. A current photo or digital image that can be used to identify the child in an emergency is required for each child. Submit written confirmation by May 28, 2026, that the missing photo or digital image has been obtained and added to the child’s file.

Observation. The work history for the substitute staff member has not been obtained. All required employee documentation must be collected and maintained to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Submit written confirmation by May 28, 2026, that the missing record has been obtained and added to the employee’s file. The fire drill is not practiced monthly. Monthly fire drills are required to ensure staff are adequately prepared to respond effectively in the event of a fire. Submit written confirmation and supporting evidence by May 28, 2026, that monthly fire drills have been implemented and practiced. The emergency plan is not practiced at least annually. Regular practice of emergency procedures is required to ensure staff are adequately prepared to respond effectively in the event of an emergency. Observation. One employee file is missing required information. Criminal record check results that are specific to this facility are required, as well as a resume for the employee. Inform licensing by the follow up date that this file is complete.

Observation. One child's record was observed to be missing the phone number of their physician. This is required information. A method of ensuring that children's records contain all required information is required. A review of attendance records show that times of departure have not been entered for some days. This information is required and is important to have in case children must be accounted for by emergency personnel. A system for ensuring that attendance records include arrival times, departure times and absences is required.

Observation. The immunization information for one employee was missing. The employee provided the information in writing to the employer during the inspection. No further action is required.

Observation. A date of enrollment was missing from one child's file. This was corrected during the inspection. No further action is required. Once child's photo is missing from the child's records. A digital or printed photo is required for each child. Notify Licensing when a digital or printed photo is obtained, or if the child is no longer expected to return to care.

Observation. A fire drill system exists, but has not been practiced regularly, or recorded. An emergency plan exists, but has not been practiced yet this year. A system for recording the practicing of monthly fire drills and yearly emergency drills is required.

Observation. Arrival and departure times are now being recorded on the attendance sheet. A method for recording all minor accidents, illnesses or unexpected events is required. Some children's records are missing required information (ie physician name and phone number, a record of any persons who are not permitted access to a child and a current photo or digital image of each child.)

Observation. Observation : System in place to ensure children's records are complete. FLO tested system and found child files to be complete, log of minor injuries/incidents unexpected events updated regularly, play space inspections recorded appropriately Contravention: Children's attendance is recorded by a tick next to each child in attendance. Only the child's name at the top of the list has the hours of attendance. On the day of the inspection, there were no children recorded on the attendance sheet. It is a requirement that an accurate record of each child's arrival and departure time is maintained.
