• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.

  Observation. Several children have information provided in their registration file indicating a need for a care plan. Staff had met and spoken to parents about the children's needs and have the necessary medication in place, but there was no care plan that included the course of action recommended by a health care professional on site.

  Corrective action. Develop a care plan that addresses the course of action recommended by health care professionals for all children who require it who are in care.

  Observation. A review of 3 children's files found that all were missing an enrolment date in the facility

  Observation. During routine inspection it was found that an ECEA certificate was not valid.

  Corrective action. Ensure qualified staff hold a valid verified certificate through the early childhood registry.
