  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

Observation. Licensing observed the following: -Two hoses in the outdoor play area were unwound. Please ensure these are secured as they could cause a potential hazard -Resilient surfacing was not observed underneath the slide. The Licensee showed Licensing what she uses for the slide and discussed other items in storage. More resilient surfacing is recommended -Lysol wipes are used for wiping the diaper changing surface. Licensing recommended using bleach as Lysol wipes take 10 minutes to disinfect. -Two bottles of bleach and water are required to disinfect the tables/toys and the diaper changing mat. This will reduce the chance for cross contamination.
