Observation. The Licensing Officer observed an expired service date on a fire extinguisher. There were also bicycles, a bed loft and a play shelf on top of another shelf stored in children's indoor play space which may pose a risk of injuries to children if these items were to to tip over. Ensure a healthy and safe environment is maintained at all times.

Observation. C2.1B - Reg. 22 - The emergency evacuation policy in place includes and emergency kit that was observed today with expired food.

Observation. C6.1A - Reg. 14(4)(a)(b) - The diapering change table is currently set up on the stairway landing away from the washroom wash basin.

Observation. C7.1L - Reg. 17 - The washroom vanity drawers and cupboard were found today only latched with an elastic hair tie and hazardous aerosol items and powered bleach were accessible. The washroom also contained an open cat litter box. The living room and kitchen had electrical cords hanging which could be pulled by a child and have an item fall causing injury. The outdoor play area was observed with multiple spots of dog feces. C7.1AN - Safe Play Spaces - The licensee does not have a system containing a checklist of daily, monthly and annual outdoor inspection. This log is to include all inspections, maintenance and repairs. A resource/example has been provided with this report.
