Observation. A fridge used to store children's milk is 7 degrees Celsius. To ensure safe storage of perishable food and drinks the fridge should be between 0-4 degree Celsius. Submit by April 06, 2026, confirmation the fridge temperature is between 0-4 degrees Celsius. The black weed mat around the base of the trees is exposed and poses a trip hazard to children. Ensure the environment is in good repair. Submit by April 06, 2026, confirmation that the weed mat no longer poses a potential trip hazard risk. There are two sandbags placed in front of an emergency exit door. The sandbags were to stop water from entering the indoor play space after a recent rain fall. Fire exits must always remain unobstructed and accessible to ensure children can be evacuated quickly and safely. Submit by April 06, 2026, confirmation that the mark emergency exits are clear. Children have access to hazardous items including small pieces of Styrofoam and cleaning chemicals. Having access to hazardous materials poses a risk to the health, safety and wellbeing of children. The Styrofoam and cleaning chemicals were moved to an inaccessible place during the inspection, and children no longer have access to these items.

Observation. The Licensing officer observed an outdoor plastic picnic table in poor repair which may pose a potential risk of injuries to children. Ensure facility equipment, furniture and supplies are in good repair and free from hazards.

Observation. Lead in drinking water results have not been provided for this facility.

Observation. A care program does not have an educator who holds the required Early Childhood Educator certificate.

Observation. The fire drill was not practiced in the month of June.

Observation. Soiled diapers are being place in a plastic bag and then in an open bin in the washroom.

Observation. The large logs have rough saw off ends that pose a risk to children. A diaper mat has holes in it making it difficult to fully clean.

Observation. Medication records do not allow for the amount of medication given to be recorded. Several employee records were not able to be found or were not at the facility.
