    Observation. There is no evidence that one Educator's certificate is validated. Educator and Assistant certificates must be validated with the BC Early Childhood Educator Registry. Submit by February 06, 2026, confirmation that the certificate has been validated.

    Observation. There is no evidence that a play space check had been conducted for several months. Conduct a thorough play space check daily and keep a log of this check. Submit by February 06, 2026, confirmation and evidence that the daily play space check is being conducted and logged.

    Observation. On November 05, 2024 the hot water was tested and found to be 51.5 degrees Celsius. On November 08 2024 the Licensee Contact confirmed in writing that the hot water temperature had been adjusted down. January 14, 2025 this Licensing Officer tested the two washrooms on the upper level and found the hot water to be over 49 degrees Celsius.

Several children did not have a digital image that is able to be used in an emergency to identify the child. Employee records are not kept at the facility. Play space checks were not able to be found during the inspection.

    Observation. This Licensing Officer was not able to determine if the Licensee had the required employee records, as they were not at the facility and the Manager was away. Two employees confirmed they did not practice the emergency plans in the last year.
