  Observation. Licensing was informed that 3 children required medical care plans. 2 care plans were available, however, needing to be updated. Electronic resources to be sent.

  Observation. Licensing observed several children's files to be missing information including medical practitioner information, emergency contact information, medical insurance information, and one photo.

  Ground Surfacing: The depth of loose fill material (protective surfacing) meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of the Standard of Practice. [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

  Observation. Licensing observed that the loose fill material underneath the current monkey bars in the playground to be insufficient. Staff informed that a work order has already been submitted, and awaiting response. In the meantime, a safety plan should be in place with regards to the use of the monkey bars.

  Observation. Licensing observed one child's emergency consent card noting an anaphylactic allergy to several items. A current care plan is unavailable, and no medication is provided. Staff informed that this child only attends morning care, and believe he is no longer anaphylactic and in need of the Epi-pen. Staff will communicate with the family to clarify. Licensing recommends a list of non-life threatening allergies or sensitivities to be developed, to ensure all staff are aware if any mild symptoms or reactions are observed.
