    Observation. *The outdoor backpack containing children's epi-pens and medications was observed to be on the ground outside within reach of children.

    Observation. *Personal bags belonging to the educators were stored in a low cupboard at children's level. This poses risk as adult's personal belongings may contain items hazardous to children such as medications. *An unsecured string of lights, a loose cord attached to an iPad and other electronics were observed within children's reach on the counter under the bank of windows. *A box cutter was being stored in a low drawer accessible to children. (This item corrected during inspection)

    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. *There is a well stocked art cupboard with bins on shelves stacked floor to ceiling which could become a tipping hazard should we experience any seismic issues. *A 6' tall bookshelf located in the washroom in the classroom was not secured to the wall. This is a potential tipping hazard.
