  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. *The resource room was observed to be unlocked potentially allowing children access to materials and supplies and tipping hazards. This item was corrected during the inspection. • An unsecured air purifier cord was observed to be loose and accessible to children. This poses the possibility of entanglement. • The emergency supply/nap mat storage room doors were unlocked posing a potential finger pinch hazard.

  All indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are suitable for the age and development of the children, safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)]

  Observation. *CCFL observed a blue and white mud kitchen in the outdoor play yard that was water logged and showing black mould. This item is no longer in good repair. *A water feature in the outdoor play yard that is powered by an electric pump is not in working order. The socket and plug for the plug were observed to be wet and accessible to children.
