  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing discussed the condition of the floor tiles in both bathrooms with the Manager. The tiles were observed to be in poor condition, with limited caulking around the toilets. This issue was previously documented in the inspection reports from March 16 2023 and March 4 2024. During these discussions, it was noted that a plan would need to be submitted within the next two years, bringing the timeline to 2025. Licensing observed a window that is inaccessible to children with a large crack, which is currently being temporarily held together with protective film.

• STAFFING / Emergency Training and EquipmentNon-critical

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. The Manager informed that the emergency preparedness drill has not been practiced in the past 12 months. The Manager informed that they are in the process of scheduling one. Fire drills have been practiced on a monthly basis and are being recorded.
