  Observation. Ceiling paint and drywall was chipped off in one area due to a leak from the floor above. A repair work order has been submitted.

  Observation. One staff did not have ECE verification on file.

  Observation. Licenising observed that some of the rubber tiles had come up in the corners posing a tripping hazard.

  Ground Surfacing: The depth of loose fill material (protective surfacing) meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of the Standard of Practice. [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

  Observation. Licensing observed 6 inches of sand under the 5 feet platforms. The sand has been compacted over time and can no longer be consider as 6 inches of "loose fill" material.

  Emergency exits and fire drill system are approved by a local Fire Marshal. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(a)]

  Observation. It appeared that the fire extinguisher located in the preschool room "failed" the annual inspection that was conducted in October 2022, as indicated on the tag.
