- LICENSING / Continuing Duty To InformNon-critical
Licensing has been notified immediately of any change in the information provided under Section 9 (Applying for a License). [CCLR Sec. 10(1)]
Observation. Licensing observed a group of children in the school hallway participating in a pod meeting before entering the licensed space that is the music room. This occurred 20 minutes past the time confirmed in the operational plan. A representative of the Licensee explained that the room was occupied by a school teacher for a meeting, preventing the grouping of children from entering. During this time, the children remained in the hallway, washed their hands and had their pod meeting. Twenty minutes after the scheduled time, staff had just begun setting up the room. Licensing and a representative of the Licensee discussed the requirement to follow the approved operational plan, noting that extended wait times in the hallway are not in the best interest of the children's wellbeing and do not meet compliance requirements.
