  Observation. Licensing observed an expired epi-pen.

  Observation. Licensing observed a care plan assigned to an expired epi-pen. Once a new epi-pen has been obtained, update the care plan with the required information (i.e. expiry date, etc.).

• PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / Play Area, Materials and EquipmentNon-critical

  The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing was informed by the Manager that a section of the fence enclosing the outdoor play area was knocked down. The Manager stated that a work order had been put in to repair the broken section of the fence.

• PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / EnvironmentNon-critical

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed the floor in the kitchen was uneven and could potentially be a tripping hazard.

  Hazardous objects and substances are inaccessible to children. [CCLR Sec 17]

  Observation. Licensing observed in the Orca room twinkle lights along the window that were not secured.
