• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. Licensing observed that two area rugs were severely curled on the edges causing a tripping hazard.

  Corrective action. Ensure the facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are in good repair.

  Observation. The fridge temperature was measured at 10.7 degrees Celsius.

  Corrective action. Ensure the fridge temperature is maintained at 4 degrees or below.
