  Observation. A review of staff records was conducted. Some staff files were found to be incomplete. - One staff file is missing a record of the person's work history, and references. - One staff file did not contain current criminal record clearance. - One staff certificate has not been verified by the director of the early childhood educator registry.

• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensee must provide a plan that would describe their procedure to prepare for, mitigate, respond to, and recover from any emergency.

• C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensee shared that children in care use wet wipes to clean their hands before/after meals when they are outside or in the playground. Proper handwashing must be practiced by children and staff at all times.
