    Observation. It observed the medication for a child with a medical condition was expired. Submit to licensing the system that will be implemented to ensure medications administered at the facility are not expired.

    Observation. It was observed the fire drill system was not displayed in a prominent place in the facility. Submit to licensing evidence that a copy of the fire drill system has been posted in a prominent place within the facility.

    Observation. Some child files are missing medical insurance numbers, immunization status, and start dates.

    Observation. Several staff files are missing evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs. All staff ECE/A license to practice have not been verified by the licensee. Several staff files missing character references.

    Observation. The refrigerator in the Group Child Care (School Age) program does not have a system in place to ensure correct temperature. Wooden benches located in the outdoor play space are in poor repair. The refrigerator in the Group Child Care (School Age) program contains rotting food and is unclean. The climbing structure in the outdoor space requires protective surfacing.

    Observation. Allegation is that the manager left the other staff person alone with too many children and out of ratio on a regular and consistent basis. Manager denies this but did admit to allowing this staff person on one occasion to take to the gym more children than is allowed in Schedule E. Allegation of contravening Section 34 is therefore substantiated.
