Observation. There is no log of daily outdoor play space inspections. It is important to have a log of this as not only a reminder to inspect the play space daily, but as evidence that it is being completed as required. Submit a written plan regarding how you will address this issue.

Observation. Cleaning products were accessible to children under the sink. The child lock was present but not being used.

Observation. One staff file was missing evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization program. Employee's ECE certificates require verification through the ECE Registry website.

Observation. 1 child record was missing an emergency contact. 1 child record was missing a care card number.

Observation. Single use towels not available to children for after handwashing.

Observation. -One employee does not have a valid criminal record check on file. -One employee does not have evidence of immunizations on file. -One substitute employee does not have the required documents on file.

Observation. -Some children's records are missing the following information - Parents contact information, immunization status, care card number, Doctor's name and contact information. -Employee does not keep a record of daily outdoor play space inspections.

Observation. Upon review employee records it was noted that the employee certificate of qualification is expired and is in the process of being renewed.

Observation. Reviewed fire drill record, which is up to date. Emergency Preparedness Plan practice will be practiced in the near future, it was delayed due to a bear in the area. Minor incident log forms reviewed, no concerns. Discussed how Incident Reports will be submitted to Licensing if necessary. Link to portal to be emailed. Reviewed children's registration records, which required further information. Discussed the system in place to ensure that records are complete, or that information is received in a timely manner.
