  Children are provided with a comprehensive and coordinated program of indoor and outdoor activities that is designed for the development and care of the children, and is appropriate for the age and development of the children. [CCLR Sec. 44(1)(a)(b)(c) and Schedule(G)]

  Observation. Originally found out of compliance on Feb. 5, 2026. Licensing observed the Licensee has opened both play spaces in order to allow for both programs to use the space at the same time. It was noted the Licensee has not provided additional toys and equipment or made any changes to the equipment provided to meet the capacity for children accessing the space. It is the Licensee responsibility to provide materials and equipment for educators to meet the age and development needs of the children in care. example: buckets, shovels, molding shapes etc. for the soil under the tree and where the kitchen centre is located, materials and equipment to enhance the clubhouse.

  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. Licensing observed the facility was not following a specific cleaning and sanitizing procedure during the inspection.

  For each child requiring extra support, the licensee keeps a current care plan showing the required information. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)(2)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that a care plan is not completed for each child requiring extra support.

  Maintenance of Equipment: A log is kept of all inspections, maintenance and repairs. [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

  Observation. Licensing observed the program was not using a log to keep all inspection, maintenance and repairs to the outside play space.

  All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]

  Observation. Licensing observed that a staff member's CRC had expired.

  Play materials and/or equipment are not safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)(b)]

  Observation. In the garden pebble area of the outdoor play space, LO observed that the landscaping material is unsecured and poses a tripping hazard.

  The licensee has written parental consent to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness, in cases where the parent cannot immediately be reached. [CCLR Sec. 57(3)(a)]

  Observation. LO observed one record in which the licensee does not have written parental consent to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness, in cases where the parent cannot be immediately reached.

  A record for each child containing a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(i)]; A record for each child containing the name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(d)]; A record for each child containing the name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(a)]

  Observation. LO reviewed children's records and observed the following: -photograph or digital image of the child is not kept for 3 children -emergency contact is not kept for 1 child -medical insurance plan number is not kept for 2 children -immunization status is not kept for 1 child

  Observation. LO observed two children's records in which the parent(s) have listed themselves as the emergency contact.

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the licensee using a system established and maintained by the director of the early childhood educator registry [CCLR Sec. 19(4)(a)]

  Observation. LO observed no evidence that Early Childhood Educator certificates have been verified by the registry for 5 staff.

  There is evidence of employees' continued compliance with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs. [CCLR Sec 21(1)]

  Observation. LO observed no evidence of an immunization status on file for 3 staff.

  Hazardous objects and substances are inaccessible to children. [CCLR Sec 17]

  Observation. On the lower level of the facility, LO observed a radiator space heater accessible to children in the nap room which poses a potential risk of harm.

  Observation. LO observed that a medical insurance plan number is not kept for 2 children.

  Observation. LO observed that the criminal record check for 1 staff has expired.
