  Observation. LO observed that a substitute staff was working in Classroom 1 and did not have any documentation on file. The staff was able to pull up copies of her CRC, First Aid, and ECEA certificate on her phone. However, LO did not observe other required documents.

  Observation. LO did not observe immunization status for a substitute staff working in Classroom 1.

  Observation. LO observed that there was a child in care who is 28 months old. This is not permitted under Schedule E - Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age).

  Observation. There are 2 classrooms licensed as Group Child Care (30 months to school age). One of the classrooms was previously licensed as a Preschool program. LO observed that this room still has a Preschool licence posted up on the wall.

  Observation. While reviewing the facility's incident log book LO observed an entry documenting that on April 25, 2025, a child in care had a seizure. A review of the child's registration documents show that the child had previously had a seizure (not while in care), however no care plan was in place for the child.

  Observation. While reviewing the facility's incident log book LO observed an entry documenting that on April 25, 2025, a child in care had a seizure and staff called paramedics. This incident was not reported to Licensing.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. In the Boys washroom, LO observed that the diaper change mat appears to be in poor repair and no longer easy to clean. The plastic covering has holes in it and the edges are beginning to tear.

  Observation. In the Girls washroom, LO observed that the heated water accessible to children exceeds 49 degrees Celsius.
