Observation. This issue remains out of compliance. During today's visit LO had a conversation with the Licensee regarding solutions, for example, install a mixing valve under the sink, find a way to restrict the hot water tap, or put a written supervision plan in place for handwashing.

Observation. During today's visit LO was able to observe children's files, and observed that immunization status is kept for all children. One child's file is missing a medical insurance plan number, so this issue remains out of compliance.

Observation. LO observed that hot water in the sink in cubby room where children wash hands measured 52° Celsius, which poses a scalding risk.

Observation. LO observed that one child's file is missing a medical insurance plan number. LO was not able to observe if immunization status is kept on file, as children's records are kept in a locked file cabinet and staff on site today were not able to open it.

It is important to have a plan in place for staff to be able to access records when needed, if the manager is not on site. Staff stated that the manager is not usually on site until after 5 pm each day.

Licensing to provide a resource to support the Licensee regarding active play.

Observation. When reviewing the children's files, it was determined not all the children's files were located in the filing cabinet to ensure a current record for each child showing the information required By counting the number of files stored in the filing cabinet for the children enrolled in the program, it was discovered two files were missing. When reviewing the HiMama app, it was discovered that a child had not been signed in and parent and child who had just entered the program had not signed in yet. The staff commented that sometime the parent forget to sign in so the staff are checking it regularly. It was explained to the staff person, that it is not the parents responsibility to mark their child in, but the staff's responsibility to ensure that the child is marked in confirming head count in case of an emergency.
