  Observation. LO observed that 2 children did not have emergency contacts on file.

  All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]

  Observation. Of four files reviewed, only one staff did not have a valid CRC from this facility. The manager does have a CRC for this staff from their other child care employer. The manager explained that they were having difficulties with the new CRC online system. But will continue to work with CRC to have a valid record check completed. Note, facility will be closed for the next two weeks for winter break.

  Observation. LO reviewed all staff records and the following was observed: -work histories have not been obtained for 2 staff -character references have not been obtained for 4 staff -diplomas, certificates or other evidence of the person's training and skills have not been obtained for 3 staff
