  Observation. LO observed that there was no Infant Toddler Educator on site. The manager was working alone and has her ECE certificate. She stated that she is currently taking classes to obtain her ITE.

  Observation. Upon entering the backyard, the LO observed that the gate did not latch securely when closed and required force to secure. If the gate is left open, it could pose a risk to children in care.

  Observation. During this visit LO observed that there was no IT educator on site. Manager stated that the IT educator had stepped out but would return shortly. LO also observed a child over the age of 36 months in care.

  The community care facility is operated in a manner that promotes the health, safety, dignity of the children in care. [CCALA Sec. 7(1)(b) Standards to be Maintained]

  Observation. During this visit LO observed a child in care who is over 36 months old. As the program is designed to accommodate children up to 3 years old, it would not be possible to meet the needs of a child of a child outside of that age bracket.
