    Observation. LO observed a care plan requiring and EpiPen in a child's file; however, an EpiPen was not on site.

    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. LOs observed an exit door next to the washroom hallway which leads to the church and building exit doors. The door is in poor repair and does not close.

    Observation. LOs observed a gap between the storage unit and fence which appears large enough for a child to fit, posing a supervision issue and risk of injury.

    Design: Landscape has been considered as an important component of the outdoor play space. [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

    Observation. LOs observed: - In the outdoor play space, a majority of the ground surface consists of loose sand, posing a slipping hazard for runners. Additionally, areas where the sand has depleted have formed grooves, creating uneven surfacing. The manager stated that previously grass was used for ground surfacing; however, due to maintenance issues, the grass was replaced with sand. - There is a green patch in the corner of the outdoor play space which appears to consists of over grown weeds and appears in need of maintenance
