  Observation. LO observed 4 children over the age of 6 attending the care program. The ages do not comply with the licensed care program. Manager stated they are temporarily attending due to their school being closed for the holidays.

  The certificates, or copies of certificates, of early childhood educators and assistants are prominently displayed in the facility. [CCLR 11(4)]

  Observation. LO observed 1 staff certificate is not displayed in the facility.

• MEDICATION / MedicationNon-critical

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. LO observed: - allergy information for a child is posted in the classroom however their emergency consent records indicate additional allergies that are not posted for all staff to be aware of. - a child has a seizure care plan however their emergency consent record does not indicate this information. Discussion took place to ensure children's information is current and all records reflect the same information.

  Emergency exits and fire drill system are approved by a local Fire Marshal. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(a)]

  Observation. LO observed fire extinguishers expired in September 2025.

  The licensee keeps a current record for each child showing the information required. [CCLR Sec. 57]

  Observation. LO reviewed a sampling of children's records. Some children are missing: - Medical insurance plan numbers - Medical practitioner contact information LO observed parent(s) listed themselves as emergency contact

  Observation. Licensing observed the facility did not appear to have adequate emergency supplies for children and staff in an event of an emergency.

  Observation. Licensing observed attendance records do not correctly capture arrival and departure times.

  Prior to employing staff the manager has met with each person and has obtained the appropriate documentation. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)]

  Observation. Licensing observed the following staff records: - 1 was missing record of work history - 3 did not have documentation to support their certificate was verified using a system established and maintained by the director of the early childhood educator registry - 2 were missing evidence that they complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs - 1 was missing a criminal record check. 1 had an expired criminal record check. 2 had criminal record checks addressed to another business. - 1 was missing character references
