  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must have first aid kits that are readily accessible to all employees, including while care is provided off the community care facility premises.

    Observation. During a check of the first aid bag, it was found that it was lacking emergency supplies, such as band-aids. The Manager explained that there is a box of band-aids strored in the facility and the first aid bag will be re-stocked.

    Corrective action. Please ensure first aid kits are stocked and readily accessible to all employees with adequate supplies.
