Observation. *Licensing observed a diaper changing mat that is starting to tear making it difficult to clean. *Licensing observed children's bedding being stored in a cupboard touching one another. Licensing also observed nap mats set up in a way that the bedding was touching one another. This poses a risk for cross contamination. *Licensing observed a hanger with bibs used for meal times being stored in the washroom. A conversation was had with the manager around the importance of drying the bibs elsewhere as the washroom was not a sanitary place to do so. The manager removed the hanger out of the washroom during the inspection. A conversation was had with the Manager in regards to the sanitizing solution that is currently being used as it calls for a 10 minute touch time in order to sanitize. Licensing recommended having a conversation around the use of a bleach solution to ensure surfaces are being thoroughly sanitized. Licensing has provided the Manager the VCH resource.
