Observation. Licensing observed that there were no entries in the minor incident log book. This has been noted in previous reports.

Observation. This has been previously noted in reports, as fire drills are not being conducted monthly. Licensing observed that the last fire drill was conducted on September 25, 2025, and no records for October and November. A discussion was held with the Licensee to clarify that in any month an emergency drill is conducted, a fire drill must also be completed. The annual emergency drill was recorded on October 21, 2025.

There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]
Observation. Licensing observed that only food was available in the emergency supplies. A conversation was held with the Licensee, emphasizing the importance of including water, food, and emergency blankets as essential items in the emergency supplies. It was also suggested that these items be stored in a wheelable container for easier access and transport during an emergency.

Children are provided with a comprehensive and coordinated program of indoor and outdoor activities that is designed for the development and care of the children, and is appropriate for the age and development of the children. [CCLR Sec. 44(1)(a)(b)(c) and Schedule(G)]
Observation. Licensing observed that no structured program was in place at the time of inspection. Children were observed playing independently and running around the space. A box of Lego was later introduced for the children to engage with. When asked, the Licensee stated that Tuesdays are designated for free play, with the last 30 minutes allocated for screen time.

Observation. The staff informed Licensing that attendance is only documented when children leave the program; there is no attendance record for when children are picked up from school. Licensing observed that a child’s record is missing their medical insurance plan number.
