Observation. The majority of employee records were not accessible therefore records could not be reviewed to ensure they are complete and up-to-date. Records for employees must be available for review upon request in order to demonstrate that employees have the skills, training, experience and temperament to meet the care and supervision needs of children. Notify Licensing of records being made accessible on site on or by Oct. 24, 2025. The one record available did not have a resume or validation of the employee's certificate of qualification available for review. Resumes demonstrate an employee's training and experience. The certificate validation confirms the employee's level of training. Notify Licensing of updates to the employee record on or by October 24, 2025.

Observation. Care plans reviewed required further information regarding symptoms and actions to be taken. Care plans must be developed to include the diagnosis, symptoms and actions the employees are to take so that all employees are fully aware of a child's condition(s) and how to support them in the program. Notify Licensing of updates made to care plans in order to ensure they are complete on or by October 28, 2025. Child Registration records, Fire Drill record, Minor Incident Log, and the Emergency Preparedness Practice Record were reviewed and determined to be complete and up-to-date.

Observation. During inspection it was noted that the fridge temperature was above the 0-4 degree Celsius range allowable.

Observation. Policies and procedures in place appear to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision . The Group Child Care (School Age) program did not have their Emergency Preparedness Practice documented.

Observation. Upon review of a sampling of child records it was noted that some do not have a Medical Practitioner's name or phone number. Please ensure all child records have this information.

Observation. Upon review of employee records it was noted that one record contained an expired qualification certificate. Please ensure all records contain valid qualification certificates.

Observation. Upon inspection in the Multi-Age program areas, one space had two outlets uncovered. Please ensure that outlets are covered to reduce risk of injury.
