Observation. Three staff members did not have up to date ECE certificate validations completed through the BC ECE Registry online validation system. One staff had a criminal record check processed through another organization. It is important to have valid and up to date documents and verifications on file for all staff. Submit a compliance plan to address these issues on or before November 4, 2025.

Observation. One child file was missing an immunization status. It is important to have this information on file in case of outbreaks or exposures within the child care facility. Submit a compliance plan to address this issue on or before November 4, 2025.

Observation. The manager does not have a valid criminal record check on file. A valid criminal record check is required for all employees.

Observation. Some of the child records reviewed were missing the following: medical practitioner information. All were missing the specific enrollment and end date. These issues were corrected during inspection.

Observation. Some child records missing start dates. Two Care plans required for children who require extra support. 1 child has a food allergy that may require medication and another child requires special equipment for toileting routines.

Observation. Emergency plan not practiced.

Observation. The facility has not been tested for radon gas.

Observation. A service delivery incident report has not been submitted to licensing. Some child records are missing medical insurance number medical practitioner's name and phone number. Children's departure times were not available for February 28, 2022

Observation. The managers name was not posted in a prominent place in the facility.

Observation. -Several child files are missing medical insurance numbers. - Some child files are missing date of enrolment in the community care facility.

Observation. -It was observed that children had access to alcohol hand sanitizing wipes that indicates on the label to keep out of reach of children. (Resolved during inspection) -Two small red chairs located in the outdoor play yard are in poor repair. (Resolved during inspection) -Two electrical plug outlets are uncovered. (Resolved during inspection) -The facility has not submitted Radon testing results.

Observation. -It was observed staff did not have evidence of compliance with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control program. -It was observed the facility does not practice fire drills one each month. -It was observed that children did not have immediate access to a staff who holds a valid first aid certificate. -It was observed the managers character references were not available at time of inspection. -One staff has criminal record clearance from the RCMP not the required criminal record check under the Criminal Record Review Act.
