  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Knives were observed in a drawer accessible to the children in care.

    Corrective action. Ensure that no hazardous item is accessible to the children in care. Corrected during the inspection.

  • LICENSING

    Applicants for licences and licensees must notify a medical health officer immediately of any change in the information provided under section 9.

    Observation. The Manager informed the Licensing Officer that the program space located inside the school has changed. It was discussed that notification, a site plan, and a floor plan must be submitted to the Licensing department.

    Corrective action. Ensure that any change to the information provided in the application is notified to the medical health officer.
